You had me all the way to "just give in." I agree he's a spoiled brat, a bully, and a baby and this is satire, but I think I'd have closed this out with a different section, probably the one about not giving in to him. Or giving him a good, hard timeout and letting him cry himself out, preferably in an orange jumpsuit at a Federal penitentiary.
