Yes, we all have. The trick is to see it in ourselves, feel appropriately mortified, and edit or delete the offending post or comment. Can't tell you how many times I've done that, even to the point of deleting an entire blog when I realized it was pretentious bullshit from somebody who thought her personal experiences were all universal. Blech. With age comes greater clarity.
