Very true. This gives me hope.

But America’s political system isn’t built around pleasantness — it’s built around stability. The language of unity and agreement is often the language spoken by autocrats, dictators, and despots — when one person enjoys absolute power, the chaos of multiple voices fades away, to the detriment of a given society. The thousand wails of America’s competing, battling factions sound scary, but they’re actually a mark of our country’s unique dynamism and strength.
