Thoughtful article, and I agree. In addition to articles by the two biggest slingers of dystopian porn you mentioned, my feed is often full of their apologists, acolytes, and people who just can't stop gushing about how great their work is. As you say, both are accomplished writers, but it is their worldview that is destructive.
