This can't be stated often enough and is exactly why (other than the fact that he is batshit crazy and a crook) Trump failed as president. I've worked in the public sector for nearly 15 years, and am surrounded every day by people who are motivated by the greater good, not greed. Trump cannot and will not ever understand this. JD Vance, the vulture capitalist who spent a few moments of his life in a purchased senate seat and voted against anything that would help his constituents, does not understand this. Oh, and certainly, anyone who would rain down horror on his own constituents as Vance has done on Springfield, OH, does not get it. Public sector work is a calling, and the fact that both Harris and Walz have spent years in public service alone makes them more qualified for office than trump and his mini-me will ever be.
