There's an excellent article in The Atlantic today about Trump's truly desperate financial situation due to the two civil findings against him (E. Jean Carroll rape and defamation and New York business fraud). Since his identity and ego are so tied up in his supposed business prowess and net worth, these weeks are probably taking a huge toll on his psyche. Wishful thinking, perhaps, but this may well push him over the edge physically or mentally.
