The only advantage we have right now is his lack of incumbency. He can incite his followers and they can act, but since he is not the real president despite his delusions, their actions are crimes and, like the Cincinnati shooter, they will suffer and die at the hands of law enforcement. As you say, though, that doesn't stop trump from riding the wave of fear and lies straight back to the White House. if that happens, he will hold all the cards and control the narrative for the whole country. Up will be down, down will be up, all violence against democrats, non-loyalist republicans, and black, brown, non-Christian, LGBTQ+, and other "other" will be justified and patriotic. The only chance we have to stop him is now.
