Hi, I agree with most of your article, but as a Californian liberal (who overwhelmingly voted against TFG in the 2020 election), I'm not sure where you are getting that California is a vaccine skeptic? With the exception of a few Republican-leaning conservative pockets, California as a state is very pro-vaccine and pro-science. Witness the decisive election loss of Larry Elder, anti-vaccine Trumper who ran against Democrat incumbent governor Gavin Newsome last year. Elder ran on a platform of repealing mask and vaccine mandates in the state.
