This challenge has been making the rounds for a few weeks now. As usual, I’m the last car on the challenge train. The caboose. Check that. I’m the idiot running after the train when it’s already left the station.
So what? I’m here now.
Like many people who’ve already weighed in on this topic, I’ve never understood the bucket list construct. I mean, I get it, we’re all going to die so let’s make sure we get some things we’ve always wanted to do, done.
Sure, but have you never heard of a jinx?
Go ahead, make a bucket list. If you want to make sure you never go to Fiji see the seven wonders bungee jump skydive run a marathon swim the English Channel do a polar bear dive run with the bulls see the pyramids at Gaza climb to the top of Machu Picchu or hell, climb Mount Everest rage quit your job search for your doppelganger hot air balloon over Albuquerque swim with dolphins swim with sea turtles swim with sharks (cage optional) visit…
