It is very unlikely, despite the mountain of evidence and millions of eyewitnesses as the violence unfolded, that TFG or anyone in his orbit will see a moment behind bars or even home confinement. No one has the spine to invoke the 14th amendment to stop him from running again, so he will, and if he runs, he will cheat and win, now that he knows what didn't work the first time. Our only hope is that the rats manning the bucket brigade of Trump's sinking ship (especially the ones who tried to get pardons because they know they broke the law) actually do finally jump ship and let him go down with it.
