I'm with you on The Girl on the Train. I couldn't finish it. It had that pathological obsessed quality that I find more disturbing than entertaining. I would add to this the Pulitzer prize-winning book The Goldfinch, which I bought at an airport to be an airplane read but just could not get into. The airline magazine in the seat in front of me was more exciting.
