I haven't done this experiment but just from observation, I think if you took a random sample of characters from movies and TV, fat and thin, and then read some of the descriptions of them by characters of the opposite body type (fat to thin and thin to fat), you would find FAR more negativity from thin to fat than fat to thin. Despite the average woman being "plus" size and more diversity of size in today's entertainment media, we are still a society that worships the thin. See: every high fashion magazine of the 20th or 21st century. Just sayin'.
