I agree that trump is on his way out, despite what "polls" and "show of hands" requests say. For all the pearl clutching I've ben reading about how 6 of the eight on stage raised their hands when asked if they'd support trump even if convicted, I think those upraised hands were an end justifying a means. The raised hands had much more to do with trying to lift their rankings in the primary race than their actual plans in the ballot box, and they probably want to make sure they're onstage in the next debate. Chris Christie said before the debate about signing the pledge to support the primary candidate, that he will sign it but then do whatever he wants as it's meaningless. I think raising their hands to that ridiculous question had the same goal.
