You're right, panicking helps no one right now, and there's a good possibility that Joe-with-a-cold gets over his cold, channels Dark Brandon, and appears in public and on social media hale and hearty. Bailing on him now would put the party in chaos and may itself put Don the Con in the White House.

But the fire hose of lies from trump: Abortion after birth? WTF? not a thing. His economy was "the greatest in history?" Nope. "All legal scholars" said Roe v. Wade should have been overturned? Gimme a break. "19 people said I didn't say [fallen military heroes are] suckers and losers?? Sure, 19 people were standing in earshot when you said it. And my personal favorite, "I did not have sex with a porn star." This man should be nowhere near the presidency or even running for office. He should be in prison for the January 6 coup and stealing classified documents to say the least.

But people who don't know better are also going to be voting and President Biden did not look up to the job last night. We can survive a little chaos if Democrats change horses this late. We can't survive 4 more years of trump. Hard choices need to be made--fast.
