Hah! And it only gets worse each decade. Remember a few years ago when it was all the rage to get a "good bra fitting" because apparently we were all "wearing the wrong size?" Apparently, a 36DD should really be wearing a 32H or something -- smaller band, bigger cups was the way to go. WTF? I did end up with a few bras in bizarre sizes but I've since realized, after the giant cups were half-full and the tiny bands were cutting off my circulation, that it was just a way to sell the more expensive "special size" bras.
