Exactly this.

We have perceived for a while now that you can’t really “win” a debate with a MAGA-hat because the MAGA-hat lives in a funhouse mirrored demagoguery where there is no baseline of truth and factuality. Anything they dislike politically is tossed into a trash heap of “fake news” and anything they want to believe is elevated to a pedestal of “alternative facts.”

Exactly this. As proven over and over again when the mainstream media puts a mike in a MAGA-person's face and asks them why they are voting for trump--the answers never make sense here on Earth.
