Bankrupting him would be a death blow to his fragile ego and send him all the way over the cliff into insanity. Or give him that stroke or heart attack all those years of McDonalds and ice cream have been setting him up for. It wouldn't muzzle his bizarro rhetoric, but if he completely loses his mind, people might finally stop listening to him and move on.
