LIFTING US UP, ONE BY ONE
A Song for September
A unlikely symphony in five keys
With a paper I haven’t started due next Sunday and deliverables at work due early this week before a long weekend out of town, my time in these waning days of September is mostly spoken for.
Even so, I’m overdue to publish a writer lift-up, so that new episode of House of the Dragon that dropped today will have to wait. Here are five for September, each with a self-introduction better than any I could offer.
The good privilege
My tears spring from the privilege of loving. They spring from life’s transience, touched by moments of joy. They spring from somewhere too deep for words.
Two-faced words
For word nerds like you and me.
A lot of the most entertaining Janus Words are words that just can’t seem to decide what they want to be when they grow up.
