A question I ask myself daily and I'm a citizen of this country. I suppose those commercials exist because the drugs are so expensive that even if a tiny fraction of people "ask [their] doctor" the pharmaceutical company rolls in the bucks and profits, but jeez Louise! My bleeding ears!
